Description de mission
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration & ETL in Microsoft Environments:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to enable data integration from various on-premises and cloud-based sources.
- Build data transformation workflows in ADF and Databricks to support reporting, analytics, and other data processing requirements.
- Ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes, providing reliable data to business stakeholders.
- Azure Data Warehouse Development & Management:
- Develop and maintain data models and manage data warehousing in Azure Synapse Analytics, ensuring optimal data storage and performance.
- Collaborate with data architects to design and deploy scalable data solutions that meet business needs, leveraging Azure SQL Database and Synapse.
- Maintain Azure data architecture in alignment with organizational standards and best practices, making improvements as needed.
- Data Governance & Quality Assurance:
- Implement and adhere to data governance frameworks, ensuring data consistency, compliance, and security within Azure environments.
- Perform data validation, monitor data pipelines, and optimize data processing within ADF and Synapse for quality and accuracy.
- Collaboration with Reporting Teams:
- Work closely with reporting teams to support Power BI data models and dashboards, ensuring data is structured and accessible for analysis and reporting.
- Provide the necessary data infrastructure and transformation to enable advanced reporting and analytics capabilities across Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Continuous Optimization & Improvement:
- Regularly assess and optimize Azure-based data workflows, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in data processing and storage.
- Stay updated on new Azure data services, tools, and best practices, applying them to enhance the data engineering environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
- Proficiency in Power BI and data modeling for business intelligence.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools in the Azure ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) for large-scale data storage.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL within Microsoft environments.
- Data Engineering Skills:
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architecture in Azure.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices for data accuracy and compliance.
- Experience optimizing data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Problem Solving & System Optimization:
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Azure data workflows.
- Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements in data pipelines.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Strong communication skills to work with reporting and analytics teams, ensuring data availability and alignment with reporting needs.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data models with business requirements.
- Experience & Professional Development:
- 2–4 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure tools and technologies.
- Eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date with new developments in Azure and data engineering best practices.
