Our growth is based on the professional cooperation with independent distribution partners. Your role in this is crucial. In order to deliver improvements to our commission related reporting, communication, payment and processes
- you manage a team of 5 professionals as Head of Broker Remuneration and
- also manage the prioritization as Product Owner of the Broker Commission squad of appr 10 people.
As Head of Broker Remuneration, you ensure compliance with the commercial agreements and the correct remuneration of our distribution partners. In other words, you are responsible for the correct application of the calculation rules in accordance with the commercial agreements and remuneration agreements with our distribution partners.
Your team’s responsibilities include:
- Translation of the commercial agreements into specifications for our IT department.
- Building test plans and then thoroughly analyzing and testing the monthly data from the various technical source files.
- Managing reporting to NN Group and the distribution partners regarding the commercial agreements.
- Analyzing available data and provide valuable insights to further improve the remuneration process of our distribution partners and make it more efficient.
As Product owner, you are responsible to improve the processes that lead NN Belgium to a highly satisfied broker channel. This happens together with the squad through user-friendly commission reporting, VIP handling of best brokers, and constantly delivering improvements with high quality. These responsibilities are often dependent on other teams as well, thus your responsibility as Product Owner is also to negotiate and support planning within and outside of the squad to find the best and most efficient way to deliver on our promises.
As part of the Commercial Department, you are member of the Commercial Management Team, where you participate in management decisions, based on thorough data analysis and reporting prepared outside and within your team.
You will support the annual decision process to constantly improve our remuneration scheme and the budget exercise regarding the remuneration of our distribution partners.
You are the point of contact for internal or external employees with topics regarding remuneration of brokers.
What do you have to offer?
We are looking for a new colleague with a solid background in data analysis and excellent communication skills. A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field (economic or financial background) or equivalent work experience is important. Knowledge of the insurance sector is certainly an asset.
