What does your job as a Project Manager AMLR look like?
The new EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR) aims to create a single, consistent, EU-wide AML framework requiring NN to standardise customer data, controls, monitoring, governance and reporting across all countries & business units. As Project Manager AMLR, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our AMLR track, in close collaboration with NN International.
You will identify, & implement the adaptations needed to our processes & tooling within the Belgian business unit to comply to the guidelines of this new regulation. You will drive the execution at business & IT side.
- You have a solid understanding of financial services and the insurance industry and preferably experience with regulatory, compliance or risk-related initiatives. You are motivated by translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business and IT solutions.
- You are able to assess the impact of new regulations on processes, systems, data and governance, and can translate these impacts into a clear implementation roadmap.
- You have strong experience leading regulatory programs and know how to work effectively with business experts, compliance, legal, risk, data specialists, architects and delivery teams to achieve regulatory compliance.
- You collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple business domains and IT teams and work in close partnership with NN International to ensure alignment with the broader AMLR implementation across the NN Group.
- You are capable of coordinating multiple workstreams, managing dependencies and driving delivery in a structured way while balancing regulatory deadlines with business priorities.
- You communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and are able to build consensus across various business domains.
Who are we looking for?
- We are looking for a Project Manager who will help us realize our AMLR track. You are an experienced professional with at least 5 years of experience leading regulatory change and/or compliance-related initiatives.
- You are able to translate complex regulatory requirements into concrete actions, ensuring compliance while balancing business needs and operational realities.
- You work autonomously and possess strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are able to assess the impact of regulatory change on processes, systems, data and governance, and translate these impacts into a clear implementation roadmap.
- You are capable of seeing the bigger picture and driving long-term regulatory transformation while delivering tangible short-term results and meeting regulatory deadlines.
- You are experienced in collaborating with business, compliance, legal, risk, data and IT stakeholders and are able to build alignment across multiple domains.
- You are fluent in English and French and/or Dutch.
- This role requires close collaboration with NN International to ensure alignment with the broader AMLR implementation across the NN Group.
You’ll be working part-time (50%) until 15/12/2026.
