About Us

Fednot is the professional association of the notarial profession in Belgium.

With a network of over 1,100 notarial offices, around 1,500-1,800 notaries and some 8,000+ employees, we support notarial practices in their daily operations: legal advice, office management, IT-solutions, training and communication for the public.
As a forward-thinking organisation, Fednot plays a key role in the modernisation of the notarial profession—investing in digitalisation, new services and process innovation.

You will join a dynamic environment within this broader professional context, contributing to strategic growth in a sector with societal impact.

Your Mission
You will lead the full recruitment cycle (end-to-end) for internal and external hires—primarily in the IT and legal domains—for Fednot’s recruitment & selection team. In addition, you’ll support process improvements, expansion of sourcing strategies and ensure that Fednot continues to attract high-quality talent under an evolving organisational agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role briefs, write job advertisements and agree recruitment strategies.

  • Publish job ads across appropriate channels (LinkedIn, specialised boards, etc.), liaise with external recruitment agencies if needed, and proactively source candidates for certain roles.

  • Conduct candidate screening, coordinate and participate in interviews (via Teams and on-site) with relevant stakeholders; prepare candidate evaluation reports.

  • Prepare employment proposals for selected candidates in line with our salary policy.

  • Maintain recruitment dashboards (number of candidates, time-to-hire, pipeline, etc.) and report regularly on recruitment KPIs.

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment team (tools, process optimisation, employer branding).

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communication, Marketing or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar recruitment role, with exposure to recruiting IT profiles.

  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French.

  • Excellent communicator (phone, in-person, virtual), autonomous, proactive and flexible in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media) and proficient with the Office 365 suite.

  • Self-organised, able to juggle multiple requests per week and work effectively in a hybrid context.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful mission within an organisation that serves a significant public-interest function.

  • Flexible freelance engagement: part-time or full-time (to be discussed).

  • Hybrid working model with a combination of on-site presence in Brussels and remote work.

  • Opportunity to make an impact: helping Fednot scale its recruitment function while being part of a transformation journey.

If you are an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a passion for digital recruitment, and you appreciate contributing in a professional association environment with real societal impact – we look forward to your application.
