Context and Role Description
As part of a major business digitalization program, we are looking for a senior Project Manager / Team Lead to oversee one of our internal development teams.
Joining a department of approximately 90 people, you will manage the transition, refactoring, or greenfield development of new business and technical projects. You will be fully responsible for end-to-end IT delivery within your team of about 14 people (analysts, architects, and developers), from the initial customer request through to the release of the final application. Including maintenance and service management of production applications.
Methodology & technologies : Agile / BPMN / Customer Journey / Java Spring / Angular.
Your responsibilities will cover all phases of the project lifecycle—from the definition of the mission to the deployment of the developed applications in production. This includes coordinating one or more teams, monitoring all project activities, reporting to the Program Manager and the Department Director, managing escalations, and engaging stakeholders—to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
You will also be accountable for organizing, leading, and developing the team, ensuring that staff remain skilled, engaged, and motivated to achieve defined objectives.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Project and Program Management methodologies (Prince2)
- + Scope, planning, risk, budget, quality, and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience in Change Management
- Strong ability to abstract and simplify complex information
- Ability to integrate smoothly into an existing organizational structure
- Good understanding of lean processes and continuous improvement
- Proven experience in team leadership, including developing personal and technical skills within the team
- Solution and customer oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong long-term relationships with business, project stakeholders, and partners
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

Mission & Working hours
- We are based in Brussels (right in front of South Station).
- This will be an initial contract – The mission is long term and can be extended beyond 2026.
- 5 days from Monday until Friday (7h48 per day). Homeworking is possible (3 days a week).

- French or Dutch: active knowledge (understanding / speaking / writing technical documentation / reading) of one language.
