Description
We are looking for a senior functional analyst profile. Preferably, the candidate should have experience in application and/or database migration.
The scope of the mission is focused on the migration of our SAS products. We currently have a large number of applications developed using SAS technology. This technology will no longer be supported after 2028. Each product will therefore need to be replaced, either by an internally developed application or by a purchased solution. This requires analysis work both in terms of business processes and technical/functional aspects. The SAS migration is a priority project for the management committee.
In practical terms, the functional analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Identify, analyze, and document business needs, particularly those related to SAS applications (AS-IS analysis).
- Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders in both national languages to capture their needs (TO-BE analysis).
- Document business functional requirements and identify gaps between the AS-IS and TO-BE states.
- Work with the team to identify possible solutions and provide a functional analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
- Propose functional improvements to the business where possible.
- Document functional and technical requirements; translate requirements into features and documentation understandable for IT experts.
- Collaborate with team members to produce application documentation; build the product backlog, detail backlog items, and define the implementation path together with the project manager and developers.
- Analyze and design data models.
- Develop use cases.
- Produce mock-ups.
- Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria; perform thorough testing before delivery to business teams.
- Report progress to the project manager or product owner.
