A GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT (m/f) for VOLKSWAGEN D’IETEREN FINANCE in Leuven
Role:
Within our Accountancy & Collections department, you will be responsible, as a General Ledger Accounting Advisor, for the overall accounting management of Volkswagen D’Ieteren Finance and D’Ieteren Lease, taking into account the legal framework. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring, analyzing reconciling our general ledger accounts to deminige our back-log
- Month-end closing
- Helping with improvements and optimalisation
- Helping with audit
- Supporting the team.
In this role, you will interact with various internal departments and external partners (vehicle importers, insurers) to gather the necessary information for booking and analyzing data.
Profile:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting with strong experience in AP/AR/GL;
- You have an analytical mindset and demonstrate accuracy and precision
- You are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English;
- You have a good knowledge of SAP and are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
- You are dynamic and enjoy working in a team.
