Athora Belgium is seeking a Life Insurance Business Analyst within the Life Insurance division to join the “BUSINESS CHANGE & MONITORING” team to support the portfolio migration project, regulatory changes or commercial developments projects. This team of 10 people specialized in individual and collective life insurance consists of 3 types of functions: Actuaries, Business Analysts, and testers.
#### Your Responsibilities:
The project aims to analyse new regulatory changes and define impacts and requirements in processes, systems:
– **Analysis**
– Analyze the new laws as BA and identify the changes for Athora
– Identify the process impacts of the new regulatory
– Define associated requirements and formalize them according to defined quality standards.
– Ensure understanding between the business and IT.
– **Testing**
– Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
– **Monitoring**
– Act as an intermediary between business and IT teams.
– Provide regular reporting on the progress of your activities.
Ensure effective collaboration with numerous stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and develop a trustful relationship with your clients and suppliers.
#### Your Profile:
– Imperative knowledge in insurance products and processes
– Proven successful experience as a Business Analyst.
– Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines. A “can-do” attitude and flexibility.
– Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
– University degree in mathematics (or equivalent experience).
– Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
– Familiar with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology.
– Proficient in English; knowledge of Dutch or French.
– Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
– Strong adaptability and learning ability.
– Detail-oriented while capable of finding the effective level of abstraction based on context.
– Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
– Client and results-oriented.
