Description

Context

The Data Office is the corner stone of all data related activities within NIHDI (INAMI-RIZIV). You will join one of multi-disciplinary agile team consisting of data engineers, reporting experts, data functional analyst, project managers, data architects, data quality experts and AI specialists.

Role & Responsibility 

·       Lead discussions with the different Subject Matter Experts (SME) of the business to understand their data related needs.

·       Identify, assess and understand business processes, operational and analytics data flows (incoming and outgoing).

·       Translate the business needs into data and technical requirements. 

·       Design and validate the data models in collaboration with Data Architects.

·       Establish the functional design for our developments in full collaboration with the Data Governance team, BI Technical Leads and SDO (ICT) teams.

·       Be in contact with the DPO to ensure GDPR and security compliance.

·       Ensure the testing of the data products developed.

·       Inform, train, encourage adoption of business users

Your Technical Skills

·       Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.

·       Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data functional analysis.

·       Concrete experience in data warehouse modelling (Kimball approach).

·       Concrete experience in designing and analyzing data flows.

·       Prior experience as data engineer is a plus.

·       Minimum 3 years of concrete experience with MS on-premise stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI)

·       Experience of Azure databricks is a plus

·       Excellent communication skills (speaking, reading, writing), Mastering both national languages professionally (French & Dutch : B2+ minimum)
