Description
This role involves curating and analysing data for the client departments of the Business Intelligence team.
One of their main clients is the Studiedienst/Service d’études, which in turn publishes the data online, making Belgian pensioner statistics accessible to a wide audience.
The main tasks will be :
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of inquiries posed by the business, discerning the core queries requiring attention. Delve into historical questions that could be interconnected with the fresh inquiry
- Evaluate existing models to draft a preliminary version of requested models
- Formulate queries essential for model construction and subsequently validate their efficacy in addressing the posed questions
- Test new queries
The candidate have
- A good knowledge in methodology and terminology of dimensional modelling (Kimball)
- A good knowledge in PowerBI
- Some knowledge in SQL (SQLServer and Oracle)
- Some experience with the Microsoft BI suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Previous experience in the public sector and/or social security is an important asset.
The position requires a minimum of 2 days per week of physical presence at the SFPD in Brussels.
