Charlotte Dejonckheere: ProUnity? It’s friendliness and care.

ProUnity’s recently welcomed Charlotte as new Customer Relationship Manager in its MSP team. Let’s meet her!

Charlotte: a broad perspective

The 28-year-old from Brussels earned a bachelor’s degree in tourism, and went on to a master’s degree in labour science and finally a master’s degree in gender studies. This was an enriching combination for her, allowing her to better reflect on the world around her and apply the insights in her work and her life.

The broad perspective of her three degrees have opened doors for Charlotte in many fields. After starting as an IT Training Officer, she pursued her career in Talent Acquisition. This was the perfect track for this talented expert to now join ProUnity.

Friendliness and care

Charlotte soon realized ProUnity was a logical next step in her professional journey.

During the interview, I really liked the atmosphere and the friendliness of the management. As a recruiter I frequently used the ProUnity platform. Its power triggered my curiosity, so I decided to cross over to see how the company works and how I can be part of its movement. I felt I had already covered a lot of ground in recruiting. ProUnity offered me that chance to reconnect with the field of IT I love, while gaining fresh opportunities to learn new things.

A lively welcome

Charlotte immediately felt at ease with her new colleagues; the friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere felt like a homecoming for her.

I was received by Rachel and she welcomed me with a lot of enthusiasm. We covered all operational topics, like the car policy and admin documents, and then she introduced me to the colleagues. What a positive experience. Everyone was very friendly. We the, all ate lunch together, got to know each other, and it was fun right away!

There’s a lot to learn

To describe her first week at ProUnity, Charlotte has one word ready… challenging!

My first week? Challenging. I’m in the onboarding phase, learning the ins and out, tips & tricks of the platform. I’m discovering the many functionalities and it all looks very interesting and challenging. There’s a lot to do, many new functions are being introduced, and the tools will continue to evolve. I’m looking forward to be up and running soon!

Constant evolution

Charlotte still has a long way to go before dealing with clients, but she’s already looking forward to these intense and constructive interactions.

Being operational already is a big step to take, because there is so much information to handle, with a lot of details worth my attention. It’s a good thing that ProUnity is a close and fairly small team, because that helps to master new developments very quickly. We will have many opportunities to grow in the future, especially in terms of the platform and international growth.

A tight-knit team

For Charlotte, the fact that the whole team works together in one office is a bonus.

This is very different compared to my previous job, where people were spread out in three offices. We would only see our other colleagues if we would visit them in Ghent or Antwerp, and I mostly stayed in Brussels. At ProUnity,we communicate with everyone, plus we share our lunchtime, and that helps to really know each other. I would say it’s more like a big family here than colleagues you never see or only see online.

A good feeling

At the end of her first week, Charlotte already had a big smile on her face, and she enthusiastically sums up her first experience at ProUnity…

The word that has stuck with me about ProUnity is benevolence. You feel heard and understood by management and I think that’s important in today’s business world.
