Goal of the mission:
|
Provide leadership and coordination for a technical delivery team working on mainframe COBOL applications and migration support, ensuring high-quality execution, proper reporting, and smooth alignment with program governance and objectives.
|
Expected deliveries:
|
- Effective leadership and coordination of the life cycle of development starting from business requirements, functional & technical analysis, build & unit testing until System integration testing
- Prioritization of backlog items and tasks within the team.
- Regular status, progress, and risk reporting to project and program leadership.
- Close follow-up of the testing activities and driving the validation process for the functional & technical analysis through team guidance and issue resolution.
- Ensuring documentation and knowledge transfer from the team to internal IT stakeholders.

Expected role & responsibilities during the mission:

- Supervise and coordinate the development team.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and escalate through governance when needed.
- Ensure alignment of deliverables with quality standards and project milestones.
- Facilitate collaboration between the team, internal IT, business stakeholders, and partners.
- Report regularly on team status, issues, and mitigations.

Description of The Expected Profile
Knowledge:
|
- Solid background in the life cycle of a development process in a onshore & offshore context
- Experience with system integration and data migration projects.
- Awareness of financial and regulatory contexts (insurance knowledge is an important plus).
- Familiarity with structured project governance and backlog management.
|

|
- Strong team leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple activities.
- Skilled in problem-solving in a structured and pragmatic way.
- Effective stakeholder communication and reporting.
- Experience managing vendors or external contributors is an asset.
