D’Ieteren Automotive is the official distributor of Volkswagen brands in Belgium. The company distributes Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Rimac, Microlino and Porsche alongside spare parts and accessories. There are around 1.2 million VW-branded vehicles on the road, which represents a leading market share of 22.5%.
The company’s purpose is to build seamless and sustainable mobility for everyone. It manages a strong network of independent dealers across the country and operates dealerships on the Brussels-Mechelen-Antwerp axis.
To complete its offering, the company sells used vehicles and provides maintenance, financing and leasing services through VDFin, a joint venture with Volkswagen Financial Services.
The brief U
D’Ieteren Automotive started working with ProUnity in 2016. To find and hire external resources for its IT department, the leader in automotive asked ProUnity E to take the initial tasks further and lead the acquisition and management of its external resources, with time & material services for consultants and freelancers.
The request stressed the need for a firm grip on the decentralized structure with multiple departments and sub-departments. ProUnity’s full MSP service V took on this complex mission and boost external talent acquisition.

The project is gaining even more traction, with additional group subsidiaries like D’Ieteren Mobility Company and Lucien Bike jumping on board. These dynamic partners are now seamlessly integrated into our process. Fresh time-and-material consultant missions are being rolled out on ProUnity’s platform, spanning across all departments and white-collar profiles, ensuring a smooth journey for everyone involved. These opportunities are then unleashed onto ProUnity’s expansive marketplace, where our trusted suppliers and freelance consultants can also shift into gear and join the movement.
In our ongoing commitment to enhancing our client’s strategic management of external resources, we’ve introduced a range of new features and reporting capabilities within their account configuration on our platform. These additions empower our client to maintain a comprehensive overview of the consultants affiliated with various suppliers, their departmental assignments, the specific projects they’re engaged in, the associated Cost Center allocations, daily billing rates, and average project durations, among other critical details.
Moreover, ProUnity has consistently met and exceeded expectations regarding data provision across a spectrum of vital functions, including invoicing, procurement, human resources, and various other areas.
