Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cisco WLAN Engineer to lead the renewal and upgrade of Access Points, alongside migrating them to new Wireless Controllers. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will ensure seamless and efficient transitions while optimizing wireless network performance to meet organizational needs.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the renewal and replacement of legacy Access Points.
  • Design and implement the migration of wireless networks to new Wireless Controllers.  
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco wireless networking equipment, including APs and Controllers.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and disruptions during migrations. 

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN technologies, including Access Points and Wireless Controllers.
  • Hands-on is key as the candidate will be exepceted to configure devices and coordinate physical replacement of the Access Points
  • Proficiency in wireless network design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, VLANs, and security configurations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, or CCIE Wireless.
  • Experience in large-scale wireless network migration projects.
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi 6 and emerging wireless standards.  

Working schedule and duration

  • Expected duration of 7 weeks working 3 days per week
