Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cisco WLAN Engineer to lead the renewal and upgrade of Access Points, alongside migrating them to new Wireless Controllers. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will ensure seamless and efficient transitions while optimizing wireless network performance to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the renewal and replacement of legacy Access Points.
- Design and implement the migration of wireless networks to new Wireless Controllers.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco wireless networking equipment, including APs and Controllers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and disruptions during migrations.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN technologies, including Access Points and Wireless Controllers.
- Hands-on is key as the candidate will be exepceted to configure devices and coordinate physical replacement of the Access Points
- Proficiency in wireless network design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, VLANs, and security configurations.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, or CCIE Wireless.
- Experience in large-scale wireless network migration projects.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi 6 and emerging wireless standards.
Working schedule and duration
- Expected duration of 7 weeks working 3 days per week
